Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

What is Sierra Vista PAC?

The Sierra Vista Junior High School Parent Advisory Council (PAC) was developed to benefit and support our students and staff.  The purpose of PAC is to facilitate communication between the SV administration, staff, and families by providing vital information about SV and share valuable student success skills for student success in Junior High.

Funds collected through PAC are used to sponsor student scholarships, teacher and staff appreciation efforts, and other events that benefit students on campus

PAC assists SV by lending a helping hand at various school-wide events throughout the year.  We are always eager for volunteers.

How Can I Get Involved in PAC?

Join and Donate
Make an annual $10.00 donation and become a member.  Donations support student activities, teacher appreciation events, PAC student scholarships, and other events that support SV students.  100% of all donations collected stay at SV and are used to support our school.

Attend PAC Meetings like "Lunch with the Principals" and Student Success themed workshops offered through our SV Family Resource Center which is designed to help parents to connect with the SV community.  Learn about the great things happening as SV and have a chance to speak with administration and other key staff members to get information and to provide insight and suggestions to help continue to make SV a great place for all students.

Help Out When Needed
We are always looking for a helping hand at SV and welcome parent involvement.  Watch for links on our website and listen for our Connect Ed calls asking for assistance with school and PAC events. We send out ongoing parent newsletter designed to help assist our families with information to help their students SUCCEED!

Join the PAC Board
We welcome parents to get involved with our PAC Board to develop programs, coordinate events, and work on ways to continue to support students, staff, and our school community.  Board positions are voted on annually and there is always room for new members.
