Honors Algebra 1 Assignments

 In Honors Algebra 1 students will focus on measuring distributions, scatter plots and lines of best fit, solving equations and inequalities, systems of equations and inequalities, matrices, functions and sequences, exponential functions, transformations of functions, quadratic functions, solving quadratics, and complex numbers.  This course includes 1/3 of the precalculus standards.  Students who successfully complete the course wiill continue to complete the other 2/3 of the precalculus standards in H Geometry and H Algebra II and will then be eligible to start calculus in 11th grade.   All students will be enrolled in Google Classroom for this class.  On this site, they will have access to the list of all assignments, upcoming quiz and test dates, solutions to the homework assignments, copies of the review sheets and any worksheets we might complete in class, and will receive announcements from me.   Parents who join the Google Classroom class will have access to all of the listed assignments, upcoming dates, and will receive my announcements, but will be unable to see or open the attachments that the students have access to, which include the HW solutions.  Parents can, however, access the HW solutions and review sheets as attachments to the assignments listed in Infinite Campus.  If you need for me to update and ixl.com score, please use the following form:  ixl.com score update form   The link to open the online copy of the student textbook is https://www.hartdistrict.org/apps/pages/curriculum-interactive-math.
