Challenge #21- Teacher Appreciation Prep/Using Props

Welcome back from Spring Break!

This week we're working on two projects. We'll be getting ready for next week's teacher appreciation project. You'll need to fill out this form to let me know which teacher/staff member at Sierra Vista makes a difference for you! Please choose no more than two staff members. You'll be taking two pictures with the staff member you choose at a later date in the MPR, using studio lighting and a backdrop.

Please fill out THIS FORM in order to participate. If you have a friend who's wanted to join Photography Club, it's never too late and this is a great project to join!

For this week, our challenge is "Use of Props." A prop is something that your subject uses, holds or wears in a photograph. Your challenge will be to shoot a subject (a person) using a prop. They can be wearing sunglasses, holding a flower, wearing a hat, holding a camera, etc.  I'd like your prop to stand out. For example, if you choose to shoot ballet shoes as your prop- your subject should be holding them and not just wearing them, so they stand out. Here are a few great examples of props you can include in your photograph.

bike
skateboard
flowers
ballooons
surfboard
hat
sunglasses
shoes
camera
fake mustache
chalk board with writing on it
suitcase
basketball
baseball/gear
soccer ball
stuffed animal
chair
scarf
necklace
a guitar/harmonica/instrument
dance shoes
jewelry
Send your photos to me by Saturday at 5:00pm to npollard@hartdistrict.org!
