I was born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley. I attended Learning Post High School and went on to attend college at College of the Canyons and California State University of Northridge. I grew up playing many sports, but my love was softball. I continued playing college softball for 2 years. I have a B.S. in Kinesiology from CSUN. I also have an M.S. in Sports Management from United States Sports Academy. I coached college softball for a few years before becoming a teacher. I have been teaching for 7 years in the Hart District. This is my 3rd year at Sierra Vista.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my family and puppies. WOOF WOOF!!! My favorite hobbies are hiking, biking, walking, swimming, and going to the gym. Well I pretty much enjoy anything that involves being physical and outdoors. Besides the outdoors, I like to cook and eat :)) . My favorite food is homemade tacos and super dark chocolate dipped in almond butter.
I enjoy listening to country music and my favorite artist is Keith Urban. The stories that they share in country songs are touching and make me want to smile.
I like bright colors (especially in my shoes). I love shoes and if I changed professions It would be my dream to design shoes.
