Help your SV Library buy new books at no additional cost to you!

Here's a free and easy way to help us buy more library books. Just add our library to your Ralphs Rewards card. Every time you shop at Ralphs Supermarket and put in your phone number or scan your Ralphs card at the checkout counter, we get a percentage of the sales. How easy is that!?

1. Go to www.ralphs.com/
2. On the top right, click either ""register"" or ""sign in""
3. Once you're into your account, click on your name in the upper right corner
4. Scroll to the bottom to ""Community Rewards""
5. Search for Sierra Vista Jr. High Library OR you can type in our ID code = 82508
6. Enroll and that's it!

Free Math Workshop Sept. 20th

The Family Resource and PAC (Parent Advisory Council) will host a math workshop at the SV Library on Tuesday, Sept. 20th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Families are invited to learn strategies for students to successfully meet math standards and prepare for math in high school. RSVP by 9/16/16 online at http://goo.gl/WpDLqX or ask for an invitation from your student's math teacher.

"Step It Up - Prize Day" Parent Volunteers Needed!

Parent volunteers are needed to help run our Step It Up Fundraiser Prize Day, which includes inflatables and different entertainment areas. Parent volunteers will help to keep students organized and ensure that the event is fun and safe!

Back To School Night

Back to School Night is this Thursday, September 1st. Please join us at our outdoor stage at 6 pm for performance from our Band and Choir students. Classroom visits will begin promptly at 6:30pm.

PAC Breakfast this FRIDAY

Hello Sierra Vista Families-
As we know ""It takes a Village to Raise a Child."" We would like to invite our parent volunteers (current & future) to our annual Parent Volunteer Breakfast on Friday, August 26th at 8:30am in our MPR. Coffee, juice, fruit and breakfast pastries will be provided.
During our breakfast, we will provide you with more information about volunteering at Sierra Vista as well as our Parent Advisory Council.

We look forward to seeing you there!
