Course Description
Welcome to the fascinating world of 8th grade physical science! Join the fun as we use energy to crash cars, make waves, react chemicals and design experiments. The William S. Hart District uses the Discipline Specific Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). NGSS lessons tie together science content, engineering practices and the cross-cutting concepts in order to help students discover how different science disciplines are interrelated. NGSS focuses on critical thinking and problem solving in science. The following content areas are covered this year:
