Feb 23rd Many Families, One Community Event

Here is the registration form for February 23, 2019, the 3rd annual, Many Families, One Community Event that will be held at Golden Valley High School. This collaborative event between the Sulphur Springs and Hart District provides resources and information for families in our community to help support all students! Plan on joining us!

Color Run - Parent Volunteers Needed!

Sierra Vista’s Color Run is Friday, February 22, from 2:10 - 3:30pm. We are in need of parent volunteers to help us supervise and assist with the event and a shaved ice truck, so that we can ensure that all of the participants are safe and have fun. Hello Sierra Vista eighth grade families! You have the opportunity to send your child a special message that will last forever in the Sierra Vista Yearbook. Give words of encouragement, a special recognition, inspirational words, or just something sweet for your student. Additionally, you can choose a photo of your student to go with your message. The tribute with be ⅛ of a page in size, and is only $20 to purchase.

Penny Wars (Pennies for Patients) Fundraiser

Our annual “Pennies for Patients” charity drive, also known as “Penny Wars,” that donates funds to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in an effort to find a cure for blood cancers has begun. Your child received a donation box and handout with more information on how to donate to this worthy cause on 1/23. This is a team competition involving the amount of funds raised per student on each team. Your support and donations are greatly appreciated to this philanthropic cause. You can be a part of a unique, rewarding high school experience, earn college credits, and get a jump start on your future. Tech Night -Family Resource Program and PAC

Please join us to learn about the free and valuable electronic resources that our school provides. You and your student will be using a Chromebook as we discuss social media trends, how to use our school’s online resources for homework, and setting up your own online accounts to view educational videos, games, and more that you can use with all of your family. Principal Carolyn Hoffman will also share the latest Sierra Vista JHS news. The entire family is welcome to attend.
