Fall 2021 CJSF Applications are here! (8th grade only)

Sierra Vista Jr. High School is a charter member of the California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF). Students, who achieve at least 16 grade points as described below in their 4 academic classes (math, English, social studies, and science), are eligible to join this Honor Society each semester. Failing grades and "D"s are not allowed, even if they are in the P.E. or elective class.

The purpose of the society is to provide those students who excel academically an opportunity to perform community service and participate in worthwhile activities. Membership in the Sierra Vista Honor Society is held in high esteem, and our staff encourages all eligible students to join.

Students must apply for the CJSF Honor Society each semester.

Get discounts at many local stores and restaurants by purchasing your virtual 25 Score Card for just $15! Part of the purchase price goes back to student activities at Sierra Vista! The purchase price for the 25 Score Card will show as costing $25, but a $10 discount will be applied at checkout.

LOST & FOUND

The Lost and Found cabinet is located in the AP Office for items that are lost on campus. If your student loses an item in class, please have them first check with their teacher. Items such as electronics, wallets or jewelry are kept in the ASB Office.

All are invited to: "Succeed in Junior High" August 24th workshop by the FRP and PAC

All students and their families are invited to join us for our first Family Resource Program (FRP) and Parent Advisory (PAC) Exploration Night called "Succeed in Junior High". This will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in our Sierra Vista JHS MPR on Tuesday, August 24th.

Our principal, Mr. Garrett will give general updates about Sierra Vista. Then the focus of the workshop will be presented by our Sierra Vista counselors. Their presentation will cover strategies and guidance to help all students to be successful in all of their classes.

Online Registration & Summer Mailer Form Help
