Workshops

The Family Program offers "Family Exploration Nights"  throughout the school year. These events are partnered with our PAC meetings on Tuesday evenings. We will provide tips for helping your student to be successful at school while participating in fun educational activities with your family.
 
"Family Exploration Nights" will be in the SV Library or the MPR from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Spanish interpreting service is available upon prior request (please give us a week's notice if you need this service).  We will provide some yummy dessert to enjoy during the workshop.

HOW TO RSVP FOR "Family Exploration Nights"
Printed RSVP forms may be turned in to the SV Library, or you may RSVP online by filling out the form below.  All of these events are on Tuesdays. 

PLEASE RSVP BY THE FRIDAY BEFORE the Exploration Night.

FRP Exploration Night with our Counselors - Tues 8/27/19
(SV MPR 6:30-7:30 p.m.)
    Join our counselors as they deliver strategies designed to help all students to navigate towards success in junior high.
 
FRP Exploration Math Night-Tues 9/24/19
(SV Library 6:30-7:30 pm)
Our Math Dept. will lead activities to help families explore and use effective strategies to support students gain a better understanding of Math and Common Core standards.
 
FRP Exploration Literacy Night- Tues 10/15/19
(SV Library 6:30-7:30 pm)
Our English Dept. will guide participants in activities to help families to improve effective paragraph writing and reading skills. Free novels will be given to students to expand home libraries!
 
FRP Exploration Makerspace & Safety Night-Tues 1/21/2020
(SV Library 6:30-7:30 pm)
Try some of our library’s fun Makerspace activities with our Teacher Librarian. You will also receive useful tech resources for students and
parents. Plus our administrators will share the SV Safe School Plan and information for keeping students safe in all situations including school lock down drills.
