Here at Sierra Vista Junior High the teachers, administrators, and parents work together to improve the education and well-being of all students. Our volunteer program not only provides a necessary base of support for our school, but it also enriches the lives of our students by taking an active roll in their education.

Sierra Vista has many opportunities for you to volunteer your time. Some are date specific, others are on an as needed basis, and some are ongoing. Some activities are all day please don't let that deter you from volunteering, we all understand time constraints and will work you in shifts.

This is the School’s largest fundraiser! Parents volunteer to help collect and record all orders and monies received.
Lost & Found Item Retrieval
Lost & Found Item Retrieval
Twice per month you will collect items from the Lost & Found and display them during lunch so that students can come to a designated area to retrieve their belongings. Any items left behind will be donated to Goodwill each month.
HAVE BOX TOPS?
It is time to kick off the Box Tops collection drive for this school
year. With budget cuts it is more important than ever to use every
possible way to raise funds for the school. Box Tops are one of the
easiest ways to accomplish this.
HOW?
When grocery shopping, look for products that carry the Box Top
symbol. Look through your pantry and see if you have products that
display Box Tops. Clip, write your student's first and last name as
well as the team name on the back of the Box Top and place in an
envelope or ziploc bag and send in with your student. Collection bins
are in each of the team leaders' classrooms.
There are monthly drawings and winners receive a gift certificate. At
the end of the year, the team with the most Box Tops turned in will
enjoy a pizza party.
There is a collection box at the front desk in the school office.
Collection bins will be available at all events where parent
volunteers are present.
