We are the three counselors available at Sierra Vista to assist students and parents. We help with academics, social/emotional concerns, career exploration, and high school readiness. We are here to support your student and help them reach their potential to be successful. We understand that junior high is a challenging time for students and they face some tough challenges in junior high such as interacting with more students, meeting new friends, peer pressure, time management, academic difficulties, organizational difficulties, and possible personal and/or family concerns all while trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in. We strive to offer a safe and welcoming environment to help support students in these areas. We are looking forward to getting to know and work with your student while they are at Sierra Vista for 7th and 8th grade.
Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have so we can work together for the success of your student. While we do have an open door policy, appointments are recommended to ensure we can provide you with the appropriate time needed. If you believe your child needs academic or personal counseling, please call us at (661) 252-3113 or email us.
